Nancy 'Nan' Jacobsohn is known for creating handbuilt white stoneware sculpture that often includes the horse as a central figure. Jacobsohn's work is almost always narrative, often from an autobiographical standpoint. She most often uses the horse to help tell these stories: either as a symbol for women, or in some cases, life's journeys. Jacobsohn believes this particular animal relates to women, especially in their youth. This beautiful framed stone work of Pegasus measures square at 7" x 7" x 2".

The table top is a single plank of wood within a mitered frame, leaving an open gap between a quarter to half inch width, which allows the moving panel to expand or contract in the change of seasons. Perfect for featuring a display, such as a vase or use as a Meditation table. It measures 6" tall x 14" wide x 20.5" long.
