Have you ever wondered why zebras have never been domesticated and used the way that horses and donkeys have?  It has been tried many times before, but the  personality and character of the zebra drives them to frequently escape their enclosures.  Since they naturally live in large groups in an environment full of predators, their strong survival instinct makes them considerably less friendly to humans than the horse or donkey.  This stunning original painting created and signed by artist Lana Morehead, sister of Shelia Morehead, captures the inescapable beauty of one such zebra.  The professionally framed painting measures 16-1/4" W x 22" H.
